Sedgehill Celebrates Black History Month and Students' Achievements

On Thursday 20th October we celebrated Black History Month in style, when the students and staff were served some delicious examples of Caribbean and African Cuisine.  We were treated to Callaloo and Salt Fish Fritters, fried dumplings, Ackee, Joloff Rice and Jerk Chicken.  The fabulous lunch was accompanied by a Caribbean music session and all our students and staff ate together to celebrate our diverse community.

Our new rewards system is in place and we have been pleased to celebrate with our high attaining pupils at our regular Friday afternoon celebration events.
